On this occasion, I want to share a couple of photographs of some very beautiful pink flowers that I found in the surroundings of an abandoned park, a discovery that reminded me how life always finds a way to flourish, even in silence.

It was a Sunday afternoon, and I was finally free from my obligations and daily stress. I decided to go out for a walk, taking advantage of the fact that the streets on Sundays are very lonely and quiet. There are few things I enjoy more than walking while listening to my favorite music, observing my surroundings, and smoking a cigarette. This ritual of mine is usually the best way to clear my mind and connect with the urban landscape, but this time, something powerful caught my attention near an old corner of the city.

I came across a very striking plant with many small, bright pink flowers. Without wasting any time, I took out my phone to photograph it; it was a beautiful shot, without a doubt, capturing the vibrant contrast of the petals against the weathered background. However, just as I was about to resume my walk, I noticed that these flowers were completely surrounding an abandoned park. I felt so absorbed by a cozy and welcoming feeling that I decided to step inside, making my way through the wild plants, vines, and tall grass that had reclaimed the space over the years.

I was deeply impressed by the fact that such beautiful flowers could appear and thrive in an abandoned place. It gives you a lot to think about regarding the resilience of nature and how beauty can emerge from neglect. Walking through that forgotten park, surrounded by those bright colors, was a poetic experience that I felt compelled to document. These images are a testament to those hidden gems that we can only find when we slow down and truly look at the world around us.
