Reverse Chameleon

Anger
Reverse chameleon
Bland skinned
Sharply-quilled colours
Hiding within

Guilt … fear … hurt … shame
Embrace the emotions
Feel the pain

Cry the tears
Wash through to your soul
Through to your heart

Dry to love
quills to plumes

Show that bald chameleon
What colour is all about

Breaking up is indeed hard to do, but next to waking up, it is a tear-soggy piece of cake. Anger and defensiveness will proceed the rising sun. Or has Elon Musk inadvertently pointed out ... more likely ... virtue will rise again.

When you point out certain truthful phenomenon to those that are invested in the opposite being true, expect anger and very loud virtue-signalling. The stakes are very high. Don't give up and allow, the temporary saving of face from your communication partner.

The anger and virtue-signalling are face-saving mechanisms. You are going to get blocked. Don't take this as a personal insult. You hit home.

You may be tempted to leave those with unwavering faith in a sacred pharmaceutical cow to their own devices and self-destruction. I know I have been, but then I remember the children. I don't know if it is my virtue. I don't think so. I just can't do anything else but speak truth. I cannot silently sit by why the innocent are led to sacrifice. I would want someone to speak for me or for my child.

The golden rule. Maybe.

But why attack virtue? Well like anger, virtue protects the ego. It keeps you from admitting fallibility by shifting it onto another. Virtue is used all the time to promote horrendous things. Discrimination. Segregation. Atrocity. Be very wary of it. How? Assume you are wrong and the other person has information, or is dealing with something you are not aware of. CONSIDER THAT YOU COULD BE WRONG.

Or rather there is something you need to learn. There is always something more to learn.

And always meditate.

The Tao Te Ching warns against attaching to virtue.

When I first began to explore the Tao, I was confused by this guidance. With a Judeo-Christian upbringing, I was taught virtue was to be pursued and practiced. The last few years has taught me unequivocally that attaching to virtue turns people into irrational and sanctimonious tyrants. Boy, do I get that now.

Yup! So true. Bright pink flowers with stark message. I got angry response from friends for telling them to detox after their jabs. It’s fear taking over and shut down the communication. Jabbed people just couldn’t face the cruel information. Kids are dropping dead everyday but they still go on pushing and fear mongering.

I guess from their perspective it is us doing the fear-mongering. I'd stop; if they'd stop the shots. But we can't, not until they are halted.
