Bending Form and Clocks, Poetry
Bending Form and Clocks
mid-morning dappled sunshine
exiting-dew, trailing ethereal
felt vapour through the atmosphere
seaside San Sebastian
a Pamplona square
the running of espresso
into our coffee cups
who new anericano and cream
would get one labelled a heathen
a martyred saint, injured just-so
his lanced side turned work of art
El Greco colors and length
a short stroll to Goya skyscapes
a jaunty scoot, we discover
Dali and Picasso bending form
and clocks
the muses delivering
to modern day poets
quills and invisible ink
on rivulets and breeze
madly whispering
cajoling, creating
conspiring, a time
for us
