Things are definitely warming up in these parts. I have been able to wear my thinner pants even. Last year I discovered Just Cozy. For just 20 bucks, you can get fleecy tights that come in an abundance of funky patterns, from plaid, to camo, to animal prints.

I do A LOT of walking and spend hours each day outside, and so I invested in far too many pairs. But I do wear them for about half the year, starting when the days turn cold in October and ... this year ... probably into April. They definitely keep me warm. They are particularly good for ice skating, which we do a lot of.

But on Saturday, it was warm enough to break out regular pants and not freeze off my tail feathers. We put in some time studying, the Greek Olympics and Geometry, and then headed downtown to look for shoes for minime. He wants something pretty special ... space shoes. It looks like we will have to order them offline.

It was nice to walk around even though our shopping trip was not a success; we treated ourselves to some Green Siren nectar; a coffee for me and milk with whip cream for the skinny dude that keeps on growing. I dressed mine up with some cinnamon sprinkles, so don't feel too bad for me.

We stopped at the climbing park on the way home so minime could hang. And I stopped more than a few times to take some pictures of all the blossoming crocuses that are coming in so many colours as to almost feel contrived. But no ... they really are that beautiful.

We are also stepped into the grocery store. Carl Jung alcoholic wine. Am I missing something? Why would one name a fake booze after a psychiatrist? Let me know if you know why. I'm fielding theories.

Speaking of odd things. I found this unique offering of free stuff, next to a couple chipped plates. No. I did not take them home. Despite, minime not understanding the significance of the find and getting pretty stoked over the idea of owning handcuffs. I had to think quickly and explain that we didn't have the key, and someone could get locked in them forever.
But if this goody box is up your alley, it may still be there. I won't judge, but please don't tell.

Sunday dawned persistently fine and we headed over to the community center to get in some skate time. The rink was almost empty; it was nice to be able to skate some wide angles. One of minime's favourite people was around, and so I was completely free to zone out and glide.

We ran a few errands and then came back home, but it was so nice that we had to get back out there, this time on our scooters.
We took the seawall and made our way over to the playground at Science World. I think the weather is meant to turn tomorrow; and so I was happy to get the sun. The air definitely felt a little heavier on our way back and a chill was blowing in.

Well, that was our weekend, including both a #beautifulsunday and a #SublimeSunday. Shout out to @ace108 and @c0ff33a for hosting the day. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend too:)
