The Schiessentümpel Waterfall - Luxembourg, EU

When I saw the waterfall excursion on our day trip Luxembourg tour plan, I was excited and never knew what kind of excursion it would be. Google told me that this location is a beautiful natural waterfall location. So, when we reached the location called Mullerthal Trail, I realized the shoes I was wearing were not for hiking and I had to go on a small hike to see the beautiful waterfall closely. The forest looked magnificent in autumn, with so many colors and bright days even though it was raining. Raining actually had made the hike difficult moreover I didn't wear proper shoes.

This part of Luxembourg is called Little Switzerland because of its scenic diversity. Its magical stream valleys, moss-covered forest, vast pasture, and unique rock formations made this trail popular among tourists. Among 3 hiking trails, we took the shortest one because of time and weather. Climbing the rocks was difficult because of the rain, they were slippery and the trails were muddy. I slipped several times and that's why I slowed down a bit during our hike.

I am not a hike person but I can walk if the weather is nice. I often struggle climbing the mountains or rocks and here I had the most difficult time climbing those solid slippery rocks. But it was worth it because, on my way, I saw different and fascinating rock formations. Moreover, the vibrant colors of the trees and the sounds of the flowing stream didn't make my hike boring. When I reached the waterfall from where I closely saw the waterfall, I was covered in mud. My shoes and pants were ruined. Moreover, during the hike, the rain was started pouring heavily. I was soaked completely and my own situation was a disaster...

There is no doubt that this waterfall is exquisite and worthy to see but I will suggest visiting this waterfall during the dry season if you wanna avoid rain and mud. But if you love autumn colors, September would be the perfect time to visit this waterfall.
