A Golden Afternoon at Utrecht, Netherlands

Hi everybody, I hope you all are doing good and staying healthy. I used to dream about exploring Europe and I remember in 2020 I had the plan to travel to Europe from Ukraine but due to corona, the plan remained the plan. Currently, I am living (long-term stay) in the Netherlands so I hope soon I will travel to different countries in Europe.

I haven't been outside much lately after Hivefest. That was the last time I was in Amsterdam and since then I was so busy that I couldn't even think to go somewhere nice to relax. Yesterday I suddenly decided to go to one of the largest cities in the Netherlands called "Utrecht". Before traveling there, I did some research on the city and I instantly fall in love with the city. The city is known for several universities, Medieval centers and architecture, the Gothic Cathedral, and Iconic Domtoren. Of course, the canal walk is world famous.

The weather was lovely and mesmerizing. Not too cold, chilly weather made my day iconic. Most of the photos are taken in front of Utrecht University and St. Martin's Cathedral. St. Martin's Cathedral is the largest Gothic Cathedral in the Netherlands, an excellent example of Gothic Architecture. The cathedral is located nearDom Tower and adjacent to Utrecht University. I was sitting in front of the Cathedral where the Sodomonument was located. The large space is known as "Hoefsmid Jeroen Dekker" ( don't ask me the pronunciation ). I didn't go inside the Catherdral, next time maybe.

I have taken some selfies as well, here and there. The picture was taken near the canal. The canals of Utrecht city is very clean compared to Amsterdam Canals and interesting as well.

It was a lovely short trip...
