Wednesday walk in Amsterdam and excitement for Hivefest...
My shift is getting rough day by day. Every day I have to deal with a minimum of 400 people ( breakfast and lunch) and only 2-3 people work in the kitchen in the morning. So, I have to do extra hours to finish everything which is somehow huge pressure on me. I am not saying that I do everything but in my opinion kitchen work never finishes until I decide to leave. When I leave it's done and finished for me. Today Gigi has got so much energy, I have no idea from where she has got so much energy. We walked a lot and she constantly pulled me to here and there; she didn't obey her leash at all. This week my shift started at 5.00 am so I had to wake up early. Also, I don't like the weather here in Almere, which is gloomy and I can hardly adjust to it. The weather is really depressing and I am sneezing all around. People around me started thinking maybe I have covid (LOL).
Tomorrow I have to work again and after my short shift, I have to get ready for Hivefest. I haven't taken any kind of preparation yet and I don't know when I am going to fix everything. My preparation means preparing Gigi so that she can stay in the room for a long time, rearranging the room, and keeping all food products away from Gigi so that she can't reach them. Don't know when I am gonna do all these. I think I have taken a lot of work stress this week that's why I can't focus and think clearly. Otherwise, this is not much work to do.
A few weeks ago I went to Amsterdam with a Ukrainian family and we really enjoyed our last summer work. It was pleasant weather and now it's chilly cold, and dark which I personally don't like. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, the weather forecast is saying that it might rain so I also have to prepare for that. I am very excited about Hivefest and hopefully, I will be able to meet a lot of Hive people. I am a little bit nervous also because I am a very introverted person and I don't talk much. People easily lose interest in me because I am not good at any kind of discussion. I don't know how people are going to accept me...
I guess I am thinking too much or maybe these kinds of thoughts are coming because of lack of sleep. I don't know.
I am going to share some photographs that I have taken while exploring Amsterdam with other Ukrainians. We didn't go anywhere specific, we were just walking on different streets. As I have said before, I am still not familiar with the Netherlands, all I know there are a lot of things to do in Amsterdam and in different cities in Netherlands...
I have taken these photos while walking near the canal... You will find a lot of restaurants, and pubs near the canals in Amsterdam...

Of course, the surrounding atmosphere will blow away your mind. You can enjoy your time walking near the canals and can relax at nearby cafes, restaurants, and pubs.
People like me enjoy the architectural perspective and history in Amsterdam. Everything amazes me...

These french fries are worthy to try...

Anyway, I don't have much to say, I will be vlogging around a little bit tomorrow and will write a few updates and experiences of mine at Hivefest...
See you...
See you around all...
Thank you so much for reading...

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)
Thank you so much... Have a great day...
Congratulations and I am extremely jealous however thank you very much for sharing such an amazing event with the world here.
Super awesome job and I can't wait to hang out and chat with people at one of these events one day.
I am already getting to go to some amazing events and puppy dog is coming with as well.
Thank you very much and have an amazing day.
I am very lucky because I never thought about it especially after fleeing from the war... But yes, lucky me...
This is so cool :D
Just imagine how shocked the rest of the world is that Ukraine has repetitively beaten the world's largest military and turned it from something scary to something people are now making jokes about.
No one ever thought Ukraine would win this war. And right now Ukraine is. The back of the mighty Russian bear has been broken upon the rock that is Ukraine.
Nice photography
Thank you...

Haha, I got lucky to be honest because otherwise, I would have never been able to attend the fest. Opening day was really nice, I was able to meet a lot of people in person and was amazed to see those with whom I was connected a long time through the blockchain...
Thank you so much...
I call that serendipity myself, not luck!
You were meant to be there in that place at that time.
And so happy that you had a great time and caught up with so many old friends too!
Ya, you are right...Anyway, the thing is the entire Hivefest timeline helped me to change my perspective, I am inspired and more motivated now. Also, learned a lot about Hive and about the Hive community...
Yes and knowing that you went AND being able to watch the livestream has motivated me even more- and made me even more jealous of everyone that was able to go! (I just wish I had more HiveTime...)
I hope that the next Hivefest is closer to Australia...
Ah, beautiful Amsterdam.
I was hoping to see you today, are you coming?
At least you will have that good time , how lucky , is it called serendipity to be at the right time at the right place ? ! I think it is magic on your side .
Maybe you will meet the man of your life .
Enjoy 🌷
This is one of the best things that happened in my life. Especially after leaving home and fleeing from the war, I thought nothing good is going to happen...
