¡First trip of the year! Nevado de Toluca 🏔❄️

¡Está fue una aventura en las alturas! 🏔❄️ Nos aventuramos a conquistar el imponente Nevado de Toluca en el Estado de México, y déjenme decirles que fue una experiencia que te deja sin aliento y lo digo literal jajajaj, porque los que no estamos acostumbrados a estar a esa altura se te agita la respiración hasta de hablar normal. A pesar de estar a una altitud impresionante, ¡nos sentimos que respirabas difernte pero geniales y no hubo rastro de mal de altura! 💪🌬️ ¿Pueden creerlo jajaj? pensé que me iba a sentir mareada o vomitando. Pero no, todo super cool.😎 Eso sí, hacía un viento que me aventó varias veces por lo que está vez no bajé hasta las lagunas si era peligroso para mi.

Uuuuy y hay más. Este volcán es un volcán inactivo, también conocido como Xinantécatl, y tiene mucha historia datos fascinantes. ¿Sabían que es el cuarto pico más alto de México, con una elevación de más de 4,600 metros sobre el nivel del mar? ¡Sí! 🗻⛰️ jajaj por eso me quedaba sin aire al hablar y más si se me ocurría subir platicando.

Y aquí va otro dato: alberga dos lagunas en su cráter (les puse las foto aquí) la Laguna del Sol y la Laguna de la Luna, que ofrecen vistas espectaculares y un ambiente mágico. 🌅🌕 Había mucho sol y se veia una super azul y la otra muy turquesa. Además, su nombre, "Nevado de Toluca", no es solo por su cima nevada en invierno, ¡sino porque en tiempos antiguos se creía que estaba cubierto de nieve durante todo el año! ❄️🌞

Bueno, este es nuestro primer viaje del año 2024 y aprovechamos para ver más cosas cerca de toluca, ya quiero compartirles esas fotos también... ¡esperemos ir a muchos lugares diferentes en este año! y claro compartir muchas fotos. 📸

Ahora pienso ...¿Cuál será el proximo destino y qué otro lugar estaría bonito? ✈️

This was a high-altitude adventure! 🏔❄️ We ventured to conquer the imposing Nevado de Toluca in the State of Mexico, and let me tell you, it was a breathtaking experience, and I mean that literally, hahaha! Because for those of us not used to being at that altitude, even talking normally leaves you breathless. Despite being at an impressive altitude, we felt different breathing but great, and there was no trace of altitude sickness! 💪🌬️ Can you believe it, hahaha? I thought I was going to feel dizzy or even throw up. But no, everything was super cool. 😎 Although, there was so much wind that it almost blew me away a few times, so this time I didn't make it to the lagoons, it was risky for me.

Oh, and there's more. This volcano is an inactive volcano, also known as Xinantécatl, and it has so much history and fascinating facts. Did you know it's the fourth highest peak in Mexico, with an elevation of over 4,600 meters above sea level? Yes! 🗻⛰️ Hahaha, that's why I was out of breath talking, especially if I tried to chat while hiking.

And here's another fact: it harbors two lagoons in its crater (I posted the photos here), the Laguna del Sol and the Laguna de la Luna, which offer spectacular views and a magical atmosphere. 🌅🌕 There was so much sunshine, and one looked super blue while the other was very turquoise. Plus, its name, "Nevado de Toluca," isn't just because of its snow-capped peak in winter, but because in ancient times, it was believed to be covered in snow all year round! ❄️🌞

Well, this is our first trip of 2024, and we took the opportunity to see more things near Toluca. I can't wait to share those photos too... Let's hope to go to many different places this year! And of course, share many photos. 📸

Now I'm thinking... what will be the next destination and which other place would be beautiful? ✈️
