Sowing a Wise and a Lasting Seed

Hello everyone,
Feeling blessed to be here.
Sowing may be easily done, either carelessly or consciously, whichever way it is done, the aim is for it to germinate, and when it does, it grows into a mature tree where it now produces fruits, from which we eat from.
Deliberate planting is done carefully and it is being monitored, because we want to eat the fruits it produces, No one ever eats spoiled fruits, rather it is being thrown away. We forget that even the things that we careless about really matters as far as training a child is concerned, most of the times we keep saying it does not matter, because it is still the sowing process, the seed planted in the process of caring and training our kids will definitely germinate, be it good or bad, the evidence will be seen, either of the good works done in their upbringing.

As parents we love our children so much, because they are part of us, it is acceptable, but there are levels to wish the love can be expressed to our children, it should be expressed in a positive way and not in the negative way, support a child that does wrong is not an expression of love, rather it is exposing the child to more terrible and ungodly manner, supporting a child that does wrong means giving the child boldness and the liberty to do anything that is worse than that, it might seems little at the beginning, but it grows gradually, and he or she goes out there and commit another atrocity he or she will run back home knowing fully well that parents will protect him or her. And before we know it, it will be too late for a change and we will do nothing but to regret it. I always say children are special gifts from God, and as such they are to be handled with wisdom, discipline, love and carefulness, it should be in our subconscious that we will give account of how we trained them. A child that needs to be disciplined should be disciplined, that that is to be scolded should be scolded, it's not an indication that we hate them, it should be done with love, and not supporting the wrong done by them and standing to defend them, when that is done it will always fall back to the root and the upbringing of that child.

I heard of an incident that happened and it wasn't pleasant to the hearing of anyone, a young university boy who abused a little girl of 6 years old. And after being discovered by the little girl's mum went and met the boy's mother calmly, so as to talk things out and find a possible solution to the issue, but rather than the boy's mother accepting it, she became defensive of his son, that the son didn't do it, meanwhile this little girl said its the boy, and narrated the whole scenario that took place, and what led to it. But still the boy's mother was still defending his son, instead of disciplining him, knowing fully well that he is guilty of this accusation, And what would have been settled amicably now escalated, yet still the mother is still defending him.

That brought about a lesson to me, she might think she loves his son, and she is protecting the boy, but unknowingly to her, she is destroying that boy, encouraging him, and when he does something that is bigger than what he just did, that is when they will look for a solution which will be too late. Unknowingly that she used her hands to destroy the child.
Another thing that captured my attention was the fact that we have to be careful and be conscious of some of the television channels and programs we allow our children to have access to, because most times when they might have finished watching some of these programs they become eager to try most of those negative parts out, some will sneak to do these things, which implies they know exactly what they are doing that it is wrong.

We are caretakers, and we are accountable to someone, and whatever we sow in them now, will definitely germinate, and we will all eat of the fruits we have planted. So we are to sow in them a good lasting seed.

Thank you for reading through ❤️
