Overcoming The Battle Of The Mind

I am happy to be here.
There is no place that rages war so much like the mind of a person, so I see the mind as a battle field, that displays both possible and impossible pictures, and anyone we yield ourselves to determine the effect and the outcome of our lives. The mind is the leader or forerunner of all actions and our actions are a direct result of our thoughts
The manifestation of things in the physical is first debated on in the mind, and then finalized there before action is been taken. The mind cannot be restricted from fighting and some of the things the mind battle about are worries, doubt, confusion, depression, anger and feelings of condemnation etc. all these are things that attack the mind. The mind is the battlefield, and it takes bravery and self determination to conquer some of the battles of the mind.

So many of our problems are rooted in our thinking patterns that actually produce the problems we experience in
our lives. Because even the Bible records that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he, in essence the content of our heart really matters, because it is from the heart that issues that pertain to life comes from that is why it is said that a positive mind produces positive life leading to a positive results, which will be accomplished with faith and hope. And negative minds produce negative lives, which will birth a negative lifestyle.

There is an incident that happened to me, it all started from my mind, which led me to take a very critical decision which later affected the relationship between me and my mum. I battled with these issues for a longer time, and as it continues it built fear, depression and distrust in my heart, so overcome it by training my mind on the path of positivity, I begin to profess positive things, although it took time, but I was so conscious and intentional about the change i want see. I also begin to select things that I nurse and accommodate in my mind, with that I was able to reconcil with my mum and i was able to get back yo my feet.

Some possible ways to conquer battles in the mind

  1. Challenge Your Thoughts: With this we should learn to pay attention to the thoughts that come to our mind, We also need to be in full control of what to think of, captive our thoughts and examine them.
  2. Consider The Outcome: The outcome will be a determining factor of our thoughts which will be reflected in our actions or reactions. To fight the war of the mind it's by considering the outcome we’re presently facing, or the future outcome we would experience if we engaged a particular thought or suggested action.
  3. Allow God to take Charge: when he is in charge of our heart we have the ability to overcome fear many other battles that the mind brings.

We should never give up, because bit by bit we can change the way we think and the outcome we experience, also the more we change our minds for the better, the more our lives will also change for the better.
