Be Courageous

I remembered an interesting story which got me motivated this morning, and I will love to share it.
A beautiful young and brave girl was stock in a toxic relationship, where she had to endure the pains and constant maltreatment by her fiance, she has to endure it because she was so much in love with this guy, most times when she threatens that she couldn't endure again that she's going to take a walk, she will be begged, and unfulfilled promises to change will be made, everything will be cool for few days, afterwards it continued as usual even hotter, so the young girl makes efforts to break out of the abusive relationship, but it proves abortive. To shorten the story, the girl couldn't take it again so she had to make a bold step by taking a decision to make a move even when she knew what was at stake, after taking that decision, informed the man, but the man said No, it was tuck of war, but she remain firm in her decision and finally she was free, and today she is happily married with kids.
That bold step she took I described it as courage or boldness.
Courage implies firmness of mind and will in the face of danger or extreme difficulties, and it is the principal requirement for exploits in life, it's also an untiring and undefeatable attitude born out of determination. Courage truly is an indispensable quality to possess in life. It's about recognizing that fear, acknowledging its validity and then moving forward with what needs to be done. Confronting our fear is about understanding the underlying reasons why we're afraid in the first place, and the ability to take a bold steps in the face of imminent opposition, obstacles, hardships and difficulties because every courageous step has some degree of risk attached to it, be it positively or negatively, thus positive courage has the capability to defy challenges, fears, and misgivings, indeed when faced with implicit pitfalls or adverse issues and taking action in the pursuit of our growth and well-being. I see courage as one of the greatest qualities we need to cultivate and hone to accomplish our God given assignment, we can have all the knowledge required to handle situations, but without taking a bold step, that knowledge seems to be useless and it will amount to nothing. We actually need courage to be able to do all the things God has purposed in our life, and to achieve all our dreams.

Fear and courage are enemies, because fear brings about negativity, while courage brings about positivity, so they are in constant conflict, so what we submit ourselves to will help to build us or destroy us. Fear only displays the impossibilities of situation by painting it to be very scary without displaying the positive benefit we stand to enjoy if the bold steps is been taken. When we allowed fear to dominate our lives, it puts us on hold, until we become uncomfortable, then take a step a step,
I once faced that, fear of the unknown, fear of where to start, what to do etc, so I decide to remain at my comfort zone without seeing anything wrong with it, until a striking incident happened which had to push me out of my comfort zone, I had to take a decision and remain firm to it. I won't say it was pleasant, but it was worth it, most times when I sit down to remember it, I always applaud myself, and with that I'm the happiest person on earth.

Courage becomes very important because it's what keeps us moving when we are faced with disappointments or delays, it also takes courage for us to continue a fight despite the disappointments and delays that we are faced with in life. If we are not moved by the circumstances that surround us, we will definitely overcome.
Something being courteous frightens a bit, because being strong and staying motivated after being disappointed will take us in our journey to greatness and that demands courage and patience. Courage is our ability to do something great/brave out of the motivation of the heart.

So in conclusion, it takes courage to build, take decisions and remain firm decisions to it, that is what makes us unique, it also takes courage to do something great and to go far, it also takes courage to succeed and do expliot in life.
