š My All-Season Orange Tree: A Small Milestone in the Garden
By Shamim Hossain | Bangladesh
In my garden, where I spend my personal time nurturing various plants directly in the fertile soil, I have a resilient all-season Chinese mandarin orange tree. After a period of careful tending, the tree has finally started to bear fruit.

As of today, it has produced two small, firm oranges. While the number is modest, the health of the tree and the quality of the developing fruits are very promising. I believe growing trees directly in the earth provides the most natural and effective environment for them to thrive.

Observing the transition from tiny blossoms to these green fruits is a rewarding experience. It is a testament to the patience required in gardening and the simple satisfaction that comes from seeing consistent effort yield results. I am documenting this small success as a part of my gardening journey.

Awww, that's such a cute small orange! Congratulations on your achievement (or your tree's achievement ahaha)
I also tried to grow trees like avocado and mango, and after a lot of failed attempts, i finally grew small sprouts š„¹
Thank you so much @darine.darine! I'm glad you found the little orange cute. It really is a special milestone for me. Don't give up on your avocado and mango treesāgardening takes a lot of patience, but seeing those first sprouts is the best feeling in the world! Iād love to see updates on your plants too. Thanks again for the reblog and the encouragement!
I don't really have the proper conditions for gardening, because I live in a rented apartment, so I gave those sprouts to my friend, as he has a garden. And so, i dont really do blogging about it. But i can show some of my progress to you
These are five of my mango seeds i was growing before i gave them away for my friend to grow
and this is an update from him after he moved some of those to a pot!
and this is my avocado i was growing in an interesting system i made myself, later i also gave it to my friend and he moved it to a pot, but i sadly don't have a photo of that
It's really great to see your passion for gardening! Since you are interested in mangoes, I have a small piece of advice for you. Growing mangoes from seeds (stones) takes a lot of time to bear fruit. Instead, you should try buying a grafted mango sapling (ą¦ą¦²ą¦® ą¦ą¦¾ą¦°ą¦¾). Grafted trees are often small in size but can produce a lot of mangoes within just a year of planting.
āThe best part is, since you have space constraints, you can easily plant a grafted tree in a large bucket or a drum with soil and keep it on your balcony or rooftop. It works perfectly! Keep up the good work, and I hope to see you harvesting your own mangoes soon!
I don't think i will be, since i gave all those sprouts to my friend, but thank you for the suggestion. if i ever want to grow a mango tree and harvest fruits, I'll definitely take your advice on those trees
You're very welcome! Iām glad you found the advice helpful. Good luck to your friend with those saplings, and I hope one day you get to have your own mango garden. Best wishes!
