πWat Kok Muang, Khuan Pring Subdistrict, Mueang Trang District. This temple was built in 1927.ππ·
Hello everyone, today I will take you to see a temple. Today, the temple I will take you to is located in Khuan Pring Subdistrict. I drove from home for a short while, about 20 minutes, and I arrived at this temple. Today's name is ** Wat Kok Muang **
Wat Kok Muang, Khuan Pring Subdistrict, Mueang Trang District, this temple was built in 1927 and has been registered as an ancient site.
First thing, when arriving at the temple, the entrance to the temple, I parked the car and got out to take pictures while walking, exploring and viewing inside the temple. Wat Khok Muang is a very shady temple because there are many big and small trees planted with cloth. In addition to the shady atmosphere, Wat Khok Muang in the temple area, in front of the temple gate, is similar to every other temple. There will be a coffin and a stupa of the deceased's remains. Located along the wall near the temple gate, in a long, orderly line.
The open area has big trees that provide shade in this area. In addition to the big trees that provide shade, there is also a Buddha statue, which is Phra Sangkachai.
This picture I took from behind the Buddha statue.
Then I walked to the front area of ββthe Buddha statue, Phra Sangkachai. A little further from Phra Sangkachai, there is a Buddha statue sitting in a meditation pose under a tree. This Buddha statue can be found in almost every temple because it is a Buddha statue that is meditating until he became enlightened and became the Buddha. It is considered a very important Buddha statue, so it can be found frequently in almost every temple.
There is also a standing Buddha statue enshrined under a Bodhi tree. I noticed the shade tree in this area and realized that this large tree is a Bodhi tree.
And in this area, you can clearly see the church. I walked into the area in front of the church. This time, it was beautiful. The child has beautiful Thai architecture. The roof has many layers. The colors of the church are beautiful. The doors and windows are decorated with stucco and carvings. The area around the pillars and other parts of the building are beautiful. Which often tells stories of religion. There are various Thai patterns. In front of the church, there are 2 lions with different colors. One is gold and the other is brown.
When I walked around the temple and took pictures in various cities of Wat Kok Mamuang, I walked out of the church area and walked to the wide area in front of the church. This area has a statue of Guan Yin. When I finished taking pictures in this area and took pictures of the wide area like a football field, which seemed like the temple was renovating, and the wide area in this area. Then I walked under the big tree on the other side. This area is a pavilion. In front of the pavilion, there are statues of a hermit and a cobra. If I called it wrong, I apologize. And there are offerings in that area as well. It looks very sacred in this area because it is full of offerings to the hermit. I walked into the pavilion. In the pavilion, there is a Buddha statue and chairs arranged in an orderly manner. Then I walked to the area behind the church. This area is a road used for traveling within the temple. There are monks' quarters and other buildings that are arranged in an orderly manner, including the bell tower in this area.
Behind the church, there is a road cutting through that area, which should be the monks' area because there are many huts. The area of ββWat Salut is shady, very suitable for meditation, especially the quietness. If you have the opportunity to visit Trang Province, stop by and visit the temples in Trang Province. There are many other beautiful temples, such as this one, which is very beautiful and quiet. I have to take my leave now.
