"Tulsishyam" is a place in the middle of the forest and worth visiting.

Hello hive community.

Tulsishyam is famous for its hot water pool. The hot water tank is natural and the water in this tank is always hot whenever you come here. Let me start today's post. Tulsishyam is a beautiful place in Gir Somnath district. It is situated 45 kilometers from Dhari on the road to Una. This area comes under the supervision of the forest department, so if you want to visit this place, you have to get a ticket from the forest department office. This ticket window comes at the beginning of the forest border crossing. Once you enter the van section, you are not allowed to park your vehicle anywhere on the road except Tulsishyam. If you park your vehicle and are found roaming in the forest, then you have to pay a huge fine per person to the forest department.

Now if we go ahead and visit the Tulshishyam temple, there is a mythological temple of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shyam here. Statues of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shyam i.e. Lord Krishna have been established in this temple. The temple is named Tulsi Shyam from the mixed names of these two Gods. It is also said that the statue of Lord Tulsishyam is thousands of years old. Just seeing it will give you inner peace. The idol of Lord Tulsishyam is black in color and is made from black stone. And underground hot springs flow from near this temple. These springs have the power to cure skin diseases and many other diseases. In Prabhaskhanda of Skandha Purana, this kund is mentioned as Tatapodaya kund. The highest water temperature recorded in this tank is 51C. In the book Indian Mineral Resourcer, the water of this tank has been described as a cure for skin, rheumatism and acne diseases.

This is a small hill next to the Tulsishyam temple. There are about 380 steps to climb that hill. And there is a beautiful temple of Mataji on the top of this hill. Sitting in that temple, one feels a wonderful peace. I have also taken many photographs from that spot with your help here. All around as far as the eye can see, there are gir forests and hilly mountains. This temple is the center of faith of the devotees who come here. People come here with chunddi and worship Mataji with love.

There are also many mythological stories of Tulsishyam. It is said that a warrior named Zalandhar had appeased the gods. Seeing that feat, Lord Vishnu was pleased with him. Lord Vishnu asked Zalandhar to ask for a boon. So he wanted Vishnu and his sister Lakshmi to stay at home. Lord Vishnu gave him a boon and also said that on the day on which you will commit unrighteousness, Lord Vishnu will leave from there. Zalandhar took revenge with all the gods. And it led to the practice of lawlessness. So Lord Vishnu of Zalandhar
Vishnu left Sagar Lok and returned to Lok. And Zalandhar died in battle with Lord Shankar. Then he got a boon in the form of Tulsi and became known as Tulshishyam.

The entrance gate seen in this photograph is the main entrance to the temple. Here, on the opposite side of the entrance gate, there is a landing arrangement for the monks, saints and devotees to stay.

If you go inside through that entrance, you will see the temple of Lord Shyam Sundar. The entrance gate of the temple and the main entrance of the temple can be seen in this photograph. There are 7 peaks in this temple.

In front of the entrance of the temple there is a staircase to climb the hill. Half way down on this step one can see a beautiful view of the temple and the surrounding forest.

Standing on these steps and camera on the top side one can see the steps going up the hill.

On reaching the top of the hill like now, a beautiful temple established on the hill can be seen.

In this photograph it can be seen that Mataji is seen entering the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. And the photographs of Mataji's darshan and the sanctum sanctorum of the temple are shared here together.

After exiting the temple, there is a small flat area. It means that the top of the hill is very small. The wind is very strong on this peak. It feels like the wind is pulling me to its side. From the top of that mountain, I captured photographs from all sides in the camera. I am also sharing these photos here with you. Standing on this peak, one can see the forest and mountain ranges as far as the eye can see. After spending about 30 minutes we returned to get down.

A photography point is built in the middle of the hill descending from the hill. Where one stands and captures a beautiful view of the Tulsishyam temple and the surrounding forest.

After going out of Tulsi Darwaza like now, walk 20 meters or on the left hand you will come to the door of hot water tank.

Bathing in this pool of hot water and worshiping God here is very important. People come from far away to worship here. Tulsishyam is a beautiful and worth visiting place in the dense forest of Gir. If you visit Gujarat and also if you come to visit Gir, then you must visit here.

Thank you for visiting my post.
