Happy fiery 🔥 Tuesday and a very warm welcome to my world of trees 🌲🌳. As always thank you so much for stopping by yet again. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and as it comes to an end am raring to go with my stepping and the trending stories of the day.
Let's get into all that and more, here we go again 💨.
So I kicked off the day with a little bit of stretching then I was out for probably twenty or so minutes around the neighbourhood. Quite sunny🌞 even though chilly
Next I got on with the chores then watched some YouTube and kept up with the trending stories.
Its been a sunny 🌞 day and that extended until this evening when I took my first and final walk. As usual slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. Well dressed and shielded from the chilly weather too😹.
So now let's get into the trending news of the day.
Starting off in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes targeting Hamas kept going. Today a video of Israeli strike on a charity kitchen in Khan Younis has emerged. 6 Palestinians including children were killed as they gathered to wait for food😿.
In total 25 Palestinians were killed in the various strikes across the strip😿.
Meanwhile, food is running quite low as Israel has blocked all food, fuel and medicine entry into Gaza since March 2🙀.
Israel has now cut off 75% of water supply to Gaza🙀.
UN Sec Gen, has accused Israel of violating international law for denying food and water to Gaza. He called Gaza a killing field adding that civilians were in a deadly death loop😿.
Not far off, Israel has raided 6 UNRWA run schools in the occupied East Jerusalem and announced their closure🙀.
Then, Yemen trending as US airstrikes targeting Houthis hit Hodeidah killing several people and leaving dozens injured🙀.
The Houthis have been attacking shipping vessels in the Red Sea in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
Still in the area, French president Macron is on a state visit to Egypt met his counterpart for talks.
Across the pond, tariff issue still making headlines, globally markets down including crypto, trillions lost and am sure no one saw this coming🙀.
Meanwhile, white house says the US is open to negotiations. Trump will discuss foreign aid, military presence in countries as part of trade negotiations. Over 70 countries have been calling to get the best deal😹.
Unfortunately, one of the countries that didn't call is China. Trump has now imposed 104% tariff rate on them🙀.
He has further threatened to hit China with more higher tariffs if they don't withdraw their retaliatory tariff.
Now we have to think of what a US-China trade war will do to the world economy.
China says they will not be bullied or coerced and will fight to the very end. It's going down🙀
But remember, last year's figures show US imported far more from China than China imported from US. So who needs who😹?
