Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome to my report. Watch out, its the day the kitties dominate the blockchain😹. Special shout out to all furry friends😻.
Thanks for stopping by and let's go ahead and breakdown my day including the trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So today, I had a short morning walk going for groceries around the neighborhood. Then I was indoors most of the time.
I watched some youtube, X; then caught some EPL action and also followed up on the trending stories.
My final walk was this evening, the usual sunset 🌄 walk. A nice, long walk around the neighborhood, and then back home.
Now let's get into some of the trending stories.
The middle east on tenterhooks as Israel and Hezbollah square off over Gaza. Israel says it has hit more than 180 targets inside south Lebanon while Hezbollah have fired many rockets 🚀 into northern Israel 🙀.
Meanwhile, the death toll from yesterday's strike in Beirut, has risen to 38😿. Including 16 senior commanders of Hezbollah who were meeting in the basement of one of the buildings hit.
Today rescuers were searching through the rubble as funerals of some of the dead went on.
Not far off in Gaza, another horrendous bloody day unfolded 🙀. 22 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on a school in Al Zeitoun. Displaced people were sheltering there.
Across the border in Israel, thousands of protesters rallied in Tel Aviv asking for a ceasefire deal to free their loved ones held captive in Gaza.
With all that's going on i doubt we will see a ceasefire😿.
In Europe, France trending as president Macron appointed a new govt weeks after divisive election. There have been protests about his PM appointee🙀.
Across the pond in the US, Quad leaders are meeting in president Biden's hometown amid growing China competition😹.
Biden has said the alliance between US, Australia, India and Japan was here to stay, pledging to deepen partnership.
Further down, Kenya's president Ruto, landed in Haiti to assess police mission as insecurity deepens🙀. A UN expert warned that Haiti faced deepening violence and insecurity.
Finally, the EU has pledged several millions to help victims of recent floods in Poland and Hungary💯. As the water receded the damage was quite shocking in many areas😿.
More craziness, this time in Japan where heavy rains and floods have been reported.
Across the pond, Peru declares emergency situation as wild fires 🔥 hit the country 🙀.
Let's hope it gets better, fingers crossed🤞. All's well that ends well 💯.
