Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Another wonderful day is fading away and as bed 💤 time approaches it's time to wrap things up and get ready for Thursday. Thank you for reading and let's get going 💨.
So as usual I had two major walks just like yesterday, starting off with the fast paced brisk walk around the neighbourhood. A short walk then I was back indoors for the usual household chores and a little bit of resting. The afternoon saw me walk to the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. As always I squeezed in my usual nap before evening set in. Then it was time for the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze🍃. It was drizzling when I came back indoors, now I hear full on rain. So in between the day I had been watching the trending stories on the news and also in crypto.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Today was a day of protests called by the opposition due to high taxes and high cost of living. In some areas police dispersed protesters with tear gas🙀.
Meanwhile, Iranian president Ebrahim Rahisi was on a state tour to Kenya, talks with counterpart and signing of various business deals.
Globally, Lithuania trending as members of the most powerful military block in the world- NATO concluded their summit. Ukraine has been promised military and financial support from G7 nations but no commitment on NATO membership probably until the war is over.
Speaking of Ukraine, assessment of it's counteroffensive suggests it has retaken 253 square kilometers of its territory since June🎊. That's six months of Russian gains rolled back in five weeks.
Of course Russia was watching keenly what was going on in Lithuania. The president's spokesman has said security assurances given to Ukraine by G7 is a threat to Russian security and very dangerous😹.
Let's go to the middle east, Israel trending as Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas has visited Jenin refugee camp for the first time in ten years🙀. This to show solidarity with his people after that raid by Israel a few days ago.
Let's finish with some crazy weather, most countries in Europe reporting high temperatures more than average for the summer. Similar events is some parts of Asia including China. In the US, Phoenix expected to touch highs of 43°C🙀.
I also saw videos of an erupted volcano somewhere in Iceland spewing red hot lava 🌋.

As always thank you for stopping by JJ . Oh yes those protective barriers looking cool with white, red and yellow colors. The contractor definitely did a great job. That overhead road also wonderfully done, it's just about three years old.
