Visit Portugal - Angeiras Norte Beach

The weather in Portugal hasn't been great, lots of clouds and rain, even though we are already in May. So I decided to look back at one of my favourite moments from last summer.

This post is all about one of my favourite memories from last summer, a sunny, peaceful day at Angeiras Norte beach. I have been thinking about that day a lot recently, especially because the weather in Portugal hasn't been great lately. It's been cloudy, rainy and not what you would expect from this time of year. So, I decided to go through my photos and write about that perfect summer day, just to remember how amazing the summer felt.

These photos are to remember the summer. They bring back the warmth, the light, and the smell of the sea. When I look at them, I can almost feel the sunshine on my skin again.

Este post é sobre uma das minhas memórias preferidas do verão passado, um dia soalheiro e tranquilo na praia de Angeiras Norte. Tenho pensado muito nesse dia ultimamente, principalmente porque o tempo em Portugal não tem estado muito bom nos últimos tempos. O tempo está nublado e chuvoso, e não é o que se esperaria desta altura do ano. Por isso, decidi rever as minhas fotos e escrever sobre aquele dia perfeito de verão, só para me lembrar do quão incrível foi o verão.

Estas fotos são para lembrar o verão. Trazem de volta o calor, a luz e o cheiro do mar. Quando olho para elas, quase consigo voltar a sentir o sol na minha pele.

Angeiras Norte is not far from where I live. Its a small beach, not too crowded, and it has a natural, relaxed vibe that I really like. I usually take the car and park close to the wooden walkways that lead down to the beach. I love those passadiços, they protect the dunes and make walking so pleasant.

That day, I arrived in the morning. The sun was already shining, and the sky was a deep blue. It was the kind of day that just makes you smile.

Angeiras Norte não fica longe de onde moro. É uma praia pequena, não muito cheia, e tem um clima natural e relaxante que me agrada muito. Normalmente pego no carro e estaciono perto das passadeiras de madeira que levam até à praia. Adoro estes passadiços, protegem as dunas e tornam a caminhada muito agradável.

Nesse dia, cheguei de manhã. O sol já brilhava e o céu estava de um azul profundo. Era o tipo de dia que nos faz sorrir.

The beach at Angeiras Norte is beautiful! The sand is soft and golden, and the waves roll in gently. It's not a big beach, but it's clean and well taken care of.

That day, the beach was calm. I love how simple and joyful the beach can be. You don’t need much just the sun, the sea, and a good mood.

A praia de Angeiras Norte é lindíssima! A areia é macia e dourada, e as ondas rebentam suavemente. Não é uma praia grande, mas está limpa e bem cuidada.

Naquele dia, a praia estava calma. Adoro como a praia pode ser simples e alegre. Não é preciso muito, apenas sol, mar e boa disposição.

That day had a kind of energy that's hard to describe. It was full of life, but also calm. Warm but not too hot. I think its what people mean when they talk about perfect summer days. The sun, the sea, the smell of the ocean, everything just felt right.

I took lots of photos that day to keep the memory alive. Like I said at the beginning, these photos are to remember the summer. And when I look at them now, especially on a rainy day, they make me feel better.

Lately, like I mentioned, the weather in Portugal hasn't been great. It is strange to say, but I almost forgot what a real sunny day feels like. Thats why remembering Angeiras Norte is important to me right now. It reminds me that good days are always possible, they just come and go like waves.

Ultimamente, como já referi, o tempo em Portugal não tem estado muito bom. É estranho dizer, mas quase me esquecia de como é um dia realmente ensolarado. É por isso que recordar Angeiras Norte é importante para mim neste momento. Lembra-me que os dias bons são sempre possíveis, simplesmente vêm e vão como ondas.

There are many beaches in Portugal, and I have visited a lot of them. But Angeiras Norte has a special place in my heart. Maybe its because it is not so touristy. Maybe its because of the smell of the sea there. Maybe its because of the passadiços that invite you to walk and reflect.

Or maybe it is just the memories I have made there, like that sunny day last summer. It was a simple day, but one I will never forget.
