My post is for SMAP#115 contest, hosted by @nelinoeva.

On Sunday, my family and I went for a walk to the city center. We got coffee and donuts at the café, and found ourselves at the embankment near the Palace square - there we stopped to enjoy our coffee and the view.

Suddenly a crow appeared and started to examine us.

It stared at us, but clearly it was not interested in us - but in our food. I broke off a little bit of my donut and put it next to crow. Then....

Then we had a pure entertainment, the show. The crow began to approach - slowly, very slowly, it turned its head in different directions - watching and evaluating us from all possible points of view, and maybe trying to hide the real goal it was intrested in: said donut.

My Dad took a series of pics of the crow sneaking up...

Oh, and this is the last pic where you can notice that donut crumb 😂 😂 😂 cause in the next second it will be gone!

The last frame turned out empty: after the crow grabbed the booty, it instantly took off and disappeared from our sight - headed to more secluded place.

And we were left with joy and some cool impressions (and some photos, as well). The show was short but A++.

Crows are interesting and intelligent creatures, it is a great pleasure to watch them; they easily can make an impression! I dont have such cool encounters on a daily basis, so I was quite impressed, and its my pleasure to share this story with you.

Crows definitely have personality :) You should try to get to know some of them 🙌

Can I please use one of the pictures in Let Our Picture Tell Your Story, giving you full credit?

This must have been a real delight to watch the crow. The crows are very, very clever and they eat almost everything. 🙂
Lovely shots, thank you so much for the entry!

I have more crowphotos of not so poor quality, birdie feeding off the trash bin, will post them later but they are not so impressive. 😏 Thanks one more time for support, it is a big pleasure and surprise to win something for me!
