To protect them and keep them from getting wet in the rain, someone put them in a box under the concrete bench. There, we fed the mother cat, and she nursed the kittens as they grew, until they started climbing out of the box to explore and play in the park. They were such a handful.

That day, while walking my dog Isis, I decided to take some pictures of them.
They were playing alone on the seesaw. They looked very funny and were having fun, just like children do in the park.

I stayed there for a while watching them. They were so cute. And I wondered where their mom might be.

After a while, she arrived, approached her kittens, and when she realized my dog Isis was there, very close to them, she pounced on her. Isis, who is afraid of them, ran out of the park.

And the kittens, as if they’d been scolded by their mom for going out without her permission, ran back to their cardboard box home.

The story of these kittens had a happy ending, because most of the time this doesn’t happen with stray cats. When the kittens were older, they were taken to an adoption event and were adopted. The mother was spayed and still lives safely within the neighborhood, cared for by people like me who love cats

La historia de estos gatitos tuvo un final felíz, porque la mayoría de las veces esto no sucede con los gatos de la calle. Cuando los gatitos estuvieron mas grandes fueron llevados a una jornada de adopción y fueron adoptados. La madre fue esterilizada y aún vive protegida dentro de la urbanización, cuidada por personas que como yo amamos a los gatos.
