Rainy days are my favorite. First thing in the morning, I woke up to the sound of falling rain. It was pounding loudly on the roof and the pavement. When I woke up, it was still raining, and the temperature had already dropped a bit, which made the atmosphere very pleasant. This is the second tropical wave to hit the country during this rainy season, which is just beginning. After months of extreme drought, heat, and wildfires, many are eagerly awaiting the rain.

I like how the leaves look with the water droplets on their surface. Some insects were flitting over the plants.
Salí al patio de atras y mi tortuga Lolita aprovechó que la puerta quedó abierta para salir. Es muy ágil, bajó el escalón y empezó a explorar, caminando entre las plantas, bajando y subiendo entre los restos de palos secos de unos árboles que se cayeron en una noche de tormenta. Me gusta como se ven las hojas con las gotas de agua sobre su superficie. Algunos insectos sobrevolaban las plantas.
Even the mango tree, heavy with fruit, looked radiant with the rain that came to wash its leaves and quench its thirst.
