A Little Tour of Lake Como

Hi, in today's article I would like to talk about a tour I did on Lake Como, and I saw many interesting things that I want to share here with you.

Cernobbio is a town in the province of Como of about 7000 inhabitants and is one of the most internationally renowned locations around the lake and we must remember that here there is an important Villa which is Villa Erba

this place struck me a lot because it overlooks the beautiful lake but above all I found a garden in perfect condition and here you understand how much care and passion there is on the part of the owners to maintain this place over time

whoever lives in a villa like this, every morning he wakes up, always has a beautiful view to see

The walk along the lakefront was also very beautiful, a classic to do in this place

On Lake Como there are many villages to discover and I think the best thing is to cross the narrow streets where you can find many shops that sell souvenirs for tourists.

I was quite struck by the fact that the inhabitants who live in these places also contribute to embellishing these places with lots of flowers to make this place even more pleasant for tourists.

During my visit, I also found a shop in these streets that sold hand-decorated bottles of wines that are produced locally.

the view that you see in these places is really beautiful I loved it as a lake.

every now and then when you visit these tourist places it always happens to find some work of art hidden within these villages, and it is really nice to discover it.

Of course most of the people who live here are owners of some boats, precisely because the fastest way to get around Also because many services as I understand are on the other side of the lake so with the car it would be very complicated and among other things some villages are not even reachable by car.

Often when I visit some countries I always find these bookcrossing points, and what was set up here was really special, because practically this little library was created inside this boat.

Looking for a vantage point where to take some photos I came across this very disturbing sculpture I must say.

I also managed to find a nice vantage point to take some photos but unfortunately a bad storm was coming as you can see from the photo and so I ran away quickly.

On my way I also crossed a beautiful castle which unfortunately was closed and another disturbing sculpture that this time had been placed over a part of the castle.

In Varenna, another beautiful location on Lake Como, I was also able to visit the internal part of Villa Monastero, a house museum that is owned by the province of Lecco.

In the villa there were many well-kept statues, and also a lot of furnishings dating back to the 1800s.
