The historical museum in the capital of Egypt, Cairo

Hello friends, I am writing a post with some photos directly from the capital of Egypt, which is also called Cairo
To be honest, I don't remember everything they told me about what you will see in the following pictures, but I hope you enjoy them.

This is one of the statues that amazed me so I decided to take pictures from several angles.
This is one of Tutankhamun's sisters in the form of their great fighting swinx. They made these statues in their honor by associating them with faith.
This is the woman who decided to do brotherhood in Switzerland, how kings and queens became brother to sister and family, as the pharaohs did in Egypt.
To keep their power.
Personally, I am quite amazed at what people are ready to do in order to rule and what drives them to do power. In order not to produce a handicapped child one of the pharaohs decided to make a child of a beautiful proverb in order to have a healthy generation which had to remain a secret. But his beau found out about this infidelity and ordered the servant to be hanged and the child to be left in a home.
As soon as Tutankhamun found out about this, he ordered his sister and Ivota to be secretly killed and ended at a very young age.
Since then he has reigned and has never had a queen by his side.
As a sign of honor to his goddess, the people decided to erect her statue to celebrate her deeds for their people.

I was very impressed by the urns in the last photo, which they say are made of wax, a special container in which to store the entrails to their kings.
In the above photos, as you can see, there are Egyptian coffins that are made of different materials, the more valuable the person in it, the more expensive it is the material from which it is made.
The burial ritual is performed for 72 days. First, an incision is made in the loins of the body, and from there the insides are taken out without the heart remaining in the body.
When they are removed from the body they are placed in these vessels in the above picture and remain there being buried with the coffin.
The body is left to rest in salt and then wrapped in a special material to be preserved for centuries. Which becomes the so-called mummy as we like to call them.

In the photos, there are various statuettes of kings, coffins, books, writings from the old establishment. Enjoy them.
