this creature looks amazing

Never saw something like this before. Look at its vivid colours. And I am not somewhere exotic, just in the central Europe. Near border with Austria and Italy.

It took my breath away for couple of seconds. Anyone knows its name?

This will probably become an even more fascinating butterfly through metamorphose. Right?
