UEFA Women's Euro England Vs Norway

Hello Football Fans,

On the 12th July 2022 I went to the Brighton and Hove Community Stadium aka AMEX Stadium to watch the match between England and Norway ladies. It was my first time going to an England qualifying match and what a game it was. I wanted to share my experience.

First of all... what a walk to get there! I mean I knew we had to walk but I didn't expect miles and miles. Once you entered the grounds on which the Stadium is on you still had a couple of miles walk to actually get to the Stadium. Once there it was nice to get in. It was on one of the hottest days of the year and after queuing ages for a drink, they had only run out of bottled water. Could not believe it! Tap water in a cardboard cup it is then.

Then I got to my seat. It was the second row back from the pitch. I was well excited!! So close!! I couldn't believe how close we were. The atmosphere was great with all the chanting and singing from the fans, not to mention the band playing the footie tunes and the Mexican wave that went round three times. It was great when the ladies came out and we got to see them play. I wish our men's team played like them. The ladies were spectacular. So many goals! It finished 8-0 to England.

The music was booming around the Stadium and everyone was up on their feet singing and dancing. I loved it at the end when the team went round the Stadium celebrating. I felt so emotional being part of that. We were all one team. All together. You could really feel the love.

Then of course we ended up facing Spain last night. Our toughest match to date. I can't believe it went into AET. However, a win is a win and next... the Semi Final! OMG I'm so excited!!
