Moments from Kaunas Spring Fair 2025 (Lithuania)

This weekend I went out to photograph the Kaunas Spring Fair in Lithuania. It was a big event in the city, with so many people walking around, enjoying the warm weather and checking out all the stands. The fair was focused on traditional crafts, handmade goods, and small local businesses, so there was a lot to see.

It was really colorful and full of life—everywhere I looked, there were people selling handmade jewelry, ceramics, wooden crafts, natural cosmetics, traditional sweets, and even live music in some corners. The smells of food and the sounds of people chatting made the whole fair feel very alive and cozy.

This wasn’t my first time photographing a fair—I also shot one back in autumn—but this time felt a bit different. Back then, I was a little shy and mostly took candid street-style shots from a distance. Now I felt a bit braver, so I tried approaching some of the sellers directly and they happily posed and smiled without even asking.

It felt less intimidating this time. I think after that first experience, I knew better what to expect, and how to move in a busy crowd with my camera. Some sellers were super friendly and happy to pose with their products, which made me feel more confident too.

I'll share a bunch of photos in this post—from the busy streets filled with people to small, quiet corners of handmade beauty. Let me know which ones you like most!
