Enjoying The Sunset, The Sea, And The Sand

When I am not at home, during weekends, I can always find myself in the city or the wild heart of nature. How I always love weekends because it allows me to either rest or explore somewhere.

One fine weekend, I was busy running errands, and at the same time, I was trying to beat the heat of summer. Instead of turning on the aircon, I am saving electricity consumption, and I am in the city.

The heat was making me uncomfortable, and I thought that going to the sea seemed like a perfect escape for me to beat the heat. And so, I made a quick decision to visit the beach. Perhaps it was just an ordinary day, but after running errands, I suddenly decided to go to a beach nearby until I passed by an open beach at Opol, Misamis Oriental.

We used to go here when I was young since it is an open beach and I could go here whenever I wanted without worrying about the fees, only to enjoy the calm sea and be healed for a moment. I used to call the ocean Vitamin Sea; it sounds like the vitamins because, honestly, it soothes my soul.

I then arrived at the beach at around 5 p.m. When I arrived at the spot, I saw that the glorious Sun was beginning to set.

Apart from it, I have seen the happy faces of kids and families who had come to the beach for a swim and picnic on the sand, all for free. As for me, I decided not to take a dip in the water since I do not have any swimming wears, for this was an unplanned journey. Instead, I sat down and enjoyed the picturesque view as I captured every priceless moment with a smile.

I enjoyed watching the fantastic Sunset, the relaxing sea, and the fine sand. Indeed, the sea was calm and serene. I have witnessed how the Sun cast a warm golden glow on the water, and I am feeling in awe.

Perhaps I enjoyed soaking my feet in the water as I felt the soft and warm sand beneath my feet. The sound of the waves was very soothing and so relaxing that I did not stop myself from feeling every precious moment on an open beach. As I took in the beauty of fantastic nature, I sat there for a while. I continuously observed the comfortable and relaxed ambiance along with the merry hearts of all the travelers going there.

I admit I am a sunset hunter. Whenever I see the Sun descending below the horizon, I capture the beautiful colors dispersed in the atmosphere before they are gone.

I loved this beautiful day because I was about to capture the sky when it turned into a stunning display of vibrant colors such as silver, gold, pink, orange, and purple hues.

I took many candid photos, with my selfies being the picturesque view as my background. If I could describe the place in just a single word, that would be mesmerizing.

Yes, it was so mesmerizing, and I feel it took my solitary heart for a while as the colors were so vivid and breathtaking. Indeed, I was mesmerized by the spectacular beauty of the sunset, which even added magic to the beach.

How I love to travel for free. I came here without paying the entrance fees. And I watched in awe as the Sun slowly disappeared from view. However, the Moon started appearing, and I was happy to capture it with my selfie. It left me with a trail of vivid colors that illuminated my day.

When the sky was turning dark, the air was getting more relaxed, and I noticed that, little by little, people had begun to go home and leave the beach. And after I walked away from the beach, I promised to return here when I was in the city once more and experience a priceless moment.

I must say that it was indeed a magical moment and will always be appreciated even more. The sea, the sand, and the sunset created a beautiful scene I will never forget. It may be a simple moment, but for me, it is the most beautiful and meaningful part of my life.
