[ESP/ENG]Por el derecho a la libre expresión./For the right to free speech.

Hola estimados Hivers!!
Son dias de cuidar de la niñez. El próximo día 10 comienza la jornada por los derechos del niño. Y como parte de nuestro trabajo cultural, los instructores de Artes plásticas de la Casa de la cultura de Playa Baracoa, en Bauta provincia Artemisa, estamos organizando una exposición para esa fecha.

Ya hemos decidido que la exposición se llamará: Los niños por el derecho a expresarse libremente. Será en la Biblioteca Municipal de Bauta. Institución que ideo está actividad y nos invitó a exponer las obras de nuestros niños en su espacio.


Hemos escogido para la muestra una selección de pinturas realizadas por los niños en los talleres de Artes Plásticas impartidos por mi colega Mendiola durante los últimos años . Quien era el único instructor aquí hasta mi llegada el mes pasado de septiembre.


Cómo estamos limitados con los recursos para el montaje, usaremos unos marcos que Mendiola tiene preparados. Así que le propuse hacer un Collage con las pinturas sobre el soporte y eso nos evita tener que inventar un diafragma. Aquí aprovechamos de todo tipo de material. Reciclaje del bueno jajaja


Finalmente logramos hacer dos composiciones estelares jajaja... los niños son increíbles artistas y eso nos facilita el trabajo... siempre queda una belleza en las exposiciones. Con los trabajos seleccionados antes buscamos la forma de mezclarlos como si fueran dibujos expuestos sobre la mesa del aula.


Preparamos dos collages por el momento, tenemos que ir a la biblioteca a medir el espacio real disponible para la muestra. Quedo una mezcla de colores y fantasías realmente hermoso.Somos afortunados de tener en nuestra institución está colección de los niños que durante generaciones han pasado por nuestra institución.

Mientras escribo llegó la hora de comenzar mi taller con los niños de 6 grado . Hoy les propuse el tema de los animales. Todos tienen mascotas en casa: perros, gatos, jicoteas....son amigos de los animales, eso me emociona saberlo. Tenemos que cuidar a nuestros hermanos y los niños son la esperanza de un mundo mejor para todos.

Como yo soy el instructor que vive en Bauta, ciudad donde está la Biblioteca en la que se realizará la exposición, pasé por allí para ver el espacio disponible para exponer. Alli me atendieron muy amablemente y pude apreciar las posibilidades. Ahora considero que podemos preparar otro collage mas y serían tres. Bueno, toda esta historia fue ayer. Aprovecho el internet más rápido de la mañana para terminar de editar el post. Estoy en la Finquita del Arte, el espacio sociocultural de mi colega Mendiola que también funciona como una granja agroecológica.

Hello dear Hivers!
These are days to take care of children. The next day 10 begins the day for the rights of the child. And as part of our cultural work, the instructors of Plastic Arts of the House of Culture of Playa Baracoa, in Bauta, Artemisa province, are organizing an exhibition for that date.

We have already decided that the exhibition will be called: Children for the right to express themselves freely. It will be at the Bauta Municipal Library. Institution that came up with this activity and invited us to exhibit the works of our children in their space.


We have chosen for the exhibition a selection of paintings made by the children in the Visual Arts workshops taught by my colleague Mendiola during the last few years. He was the only instructor here until my arrival last September.


As we are limited with the resources for the assembly, we will use some frames that Mendiola has prepared. So I proposed him to make a collage with the paintings on the support and that saves us from having to invent a diaphragm. Here we take advantage of all kinds of material. Recycling the good stuff hahaha


Finally we managed to make two stellar compositions hahaha... the children are incredible artists and that makes our work easier... there is always a beauty in the exhibitions. With the selected works before we looked for a way to mix them as if they were drawings displayed on the table in the classroom.


We prepared two collages for the moment, we have to go to the library to measure the actual space available for the sample. We are fortunate to have in our institution this collection of children who for generations have passed through our institution.

As I write it is time to begin my workshop with the 6th graders. Today I proposed the topic of animals. They all have pets at home: dogs, cats, jicoteas.... are friends of animals, that excites me to know. We have to take care of our brothers and sisters and children are the hope for a better world for everyone.

As I am the instructor who lives in Bauta, the city where the library where the exhibition will be held is located, I went there to see the space available to exhibit. They were very kind to me and I was able to appreciate the possibilities. Now I think we can prepare one more collage and that would be three. Well, this whole story was yesterday. I take advantage of the faster internet in the morning to finish editing the post. I am in the Finquita del Arte, the sociocultural space of my colleague Mendiola that also works as an agroecological farm.
