The people I value just like my family are my friends. The ability to stick to one person, offer support, and share emotions can only be fostered by love.

I met this beautiful friend during my first semester first year at school. I wasn't fortunate enough to have my high school classmate in my department. So I was always on my own while searching inwardly for a female companion.

Then one day I saw her and one other girl who had also become my close friend. That day, we only looked at each other without saying anything, I knew I liked her, but I didn't want to talk to her just yet.

So one Friday after lectures, she approached me and asked to confirm something from my notes. Then she went ahead and asked if we were headed in the same direction, so we could walk home together.
I was happy and excited to see that we were finally talking. She was my crush, lol

I didn't know she was excited too, I only got to know about it from her elder sister.

As we became close to each other, I realized that we share so many things in common. From our interest in certain things to our hobbies, sense of humor, and values.

She has been a supportive friend, one who cares and looks out for my welfare.

What I like most about her is how serious she is with her studies. She doesn't joke with her grades and I like that because I'm always motivated to study and meet up with the questions she sets every weekend.

Today is her birthday, and she requested I make a post about her. I immediately understood how she felt and didn't hesitate to grant her wish. It's her day after all.
