Scottish Landscapes - Old Boat by the Loch

avatar

Hi Guys!

A selection of shots from my Scottish archives again - this time a nice object spotted by the shores of Loch Duich in western part of Scottish Highlands.

Old fishing boat - with nice colors, standing on the shallow waters of the sea bay. Many details, lot of shells, the spirit of coastal life... - very nice thing to photograph, looks great in such landscapes.

Few different compositions, not sure which I prefer the most :).

Hope You will like it too!

I can't tell if those lines are attached to the pilons (sp) or something else. It is also interesting how it is sitting straight instead of leaning for lack of support. 🤔🤔🤔

As I remember there wasn't any big pylons - just a metal rings attached to the rocks by the shoreline... And true - interesting it is not laying on the side - I think the construction of these boats are made in such way, that the bottom is flat to avoid such situations during the low tide. Many small sea harbors have very shallow waters and the boats are standing on the bottom during the low tide.
