PV's Log #158 - Lost Waterfall... and lost video material...

Few days ago I went for a long walk to a new place which I discovered on a map scanning the nearby areas.

6 km one way to the target - river in a deep canyon where I expected to find some falls.

On my way there and in location I recorded really good video material for my yt channel - would be great memory... it would...

After coming back home I tried to copy the files to my hard drive and I found that most of the videos I recorded on one of my SD cards are gone...

All my efforts, all the journey, woodland exploration, photo workshops on place... just didn't record on the card.
I didn't get any message on my DJI device that there is any problem with the card so I didn't expect it is not saving the records.

Right now I cannot even format the card so it is completely wasted.

Shit happens - really big loss for me as this trip was great!

Good thing is that my memory cards from photo camera were fine and at least I have this trip in a form of photography...

Below: the final location and discovered waterfall. I played a bit with colors to get more magical feeling of the location.
It must look amazing during autumn...
