Polish Landscapes - Stormy Baltic Sea

Hi Friends!

First part of the shots I took few days ago during my 2-days trip to Baltic Sea shores on Mierzeja Wiślana.

I saw in the forecast it will be a storm in the weekend and because I didn't have any plans, I decided to try my luck and go there.

Thanks to the money I got from my Patronite account, I was able to organize this trip with no any extra costs - thanks to my supporters I was able to gather some photo and video material and make my PhotoVisions Project running :).

I was hoping to see dramatic sky, big waves, dynamic light, colorful sunset and sunrise - but I found on place that the weather was quite sunny and there wasn't much clouds on the sky.
Bad luck I must say to see such a clear sky and boring light during the storm...

The plan was to visit multiple spots by the shores of Mierzeja Wiślana and look for the motives with sand dunes, waves, the sea and sky... and of course, to look a bit for Amber!
Bad luck again - no amber found during this trip...

In this gallery You can see a bunch of shots I took in beach area near Piaski - the last beach before the russian borderline.

The sea looked amazing - waves were still powerful, the storm has magnitude of 10 in Beaufort scale. Wind was quite hard but not so extreme as I expected. It was freezing cold, around 1-2 degree by the sea. I had to put on all the warm clothes I took.

I spent around 2 hours on this beach, found some fossils, some interesting drift wood, but no amber as I mentioned before.
The direction of the wind was not the right one to pull out the amber from the sea. Not this time...
