Polish Landscapes - Raging Sea and Flooded Beach

Continuing the exporation of shoreline by the Orzechowo village I reached the sea coast. Strong wind from the north was cold and quite crazy - the sea looked stormy and the waves started to reach the sandy cliffs.

Beach was totally under water in some points and the water was hitting the cliffs. I didn't expect such a big change during one night only. I was lying down on the sand a day before and now - the waves flooded all the area.

It was a good lesson about how the landscape is changing, how the cliffs are being slowly destroyed by the storms and this storm wasn't a big one - I am sure the waves can be much higher and stronger during autumnal and winter storms. In such conditions both beach and cliffs can be dangerous.

Very interesting experience to see that.
