Polish Landscapes - Hunting For The Clouds & Sunset

The weather was changing, passing heavy rain with sunny moments lasted all day. When the weather is so dynamic - it is great opportunity to catch some magical light in the evening.

I went to open area to have the best view over the horizon around me - I chose large hilly meadows near Bartag, Olsztyn area.

When I came to place I spotted a nice frame on the far horizon with sun beams and heavy clouds.
As a foreground I had these houses of Bartag village, which I think looks nice.

Here are the first shots I took:

After 10 minutes the sun came out and lighten up the ground with amazing golden light.

The contrast between the ground and the dark, heavy clouds was magical! When the rainbow appeared on the sky - I knew it was worth to go out this evening.

I love such strong contrasts, pity that the rainbow wasn't stronger, or double...

At the end of my short hike I found this lonely tree on the meadow, which is always a great element for minimal compositions with the simple ground and beautiful sky.

The sun went behind the low clouds on western horizon and the colors faded very fast.

These are the last shots of beautiful clouds that day with the last touch of sunlight and colors.
