Macro Shots by Old Vintage Lens
Hi Guys!
Yesterday I went for a short walk to the forest to try my latest catch - an old, manual lens from Tokina 35-135mm f3.5-4.5 with 2 makro rings and an adapter to RF mount.
I was interested in makro shots as these types of lenses can have some unique abilities and generate artistic pictures.
The conditions however were hard - it was very windy and I had to shoot from hand using the fastest possible aperture speed. To achieve this I had to pull up the ISO to 1600 which had negative effect on the details.
In post-processing I used the AI tool from Lightroom to remove the noise which make the pictures look even more soft...
Overall I will have to take more sessions to try this gear better and to have more information to review this lens on the video.
For now - a copule of images which are the most acceptable - in my opinion ;).
They are more artistic creation then super-sharp macro shots which can be taken with high quality macro-lenses but still I think it is interesting to play with such old gear. It gives me a lot of fun and satisfaction :).
