Chasing after a bright star
Broken these walls every night
But I did not realize the scariest sound
Is the sound of your footsteps from behind

And you are the only man that I'll ever run from
There's nothing like you in this world
But I cannot let you chase me down

Some people feel uneasy when they first step foot
Fields that they're never walked before
But in order to find a certain peace of mind
There are some things that you have to do

And it seems impossible that someone
Should put up with so much loneliness life long
But we all know what the saying means
When you feel yourself sinking down
The only way to rise up is to try one more time

There's something inside me, whispers in my ear
That draws me to the corners of city benches
And makes me feel like a little bird
It's a hard thing to drift away from…
Something you feel whole…
No matter what the distance.

There's something inside me, whispers in my ear

Why it sounds so relateable! I thought only I hear those whispers and are living in my head... Loneliness is what draws me to the corner of city bench :!
