"One Second Can Change Everything"

It's hard to fathom what happened between you and me
One day we were together, and so close for eternity
And then suddenly it all changed, the walls between us had grown
Suddenly I was left here, my heart in pieces like stone

I still remember the way that we used to be
Laughing and loving life, felt so good to me
But now all that's changed, I don't know why or how
It's like it all disappeared just like a ghost in a crowd

We said 'till death do us part, but we just moved on so quickly
We said we'd stay together, but then it only took a split-second to hate each other
I'm so broken-hearted; nothing can fill the void
It's like the spark between us has been destroyed

We tried to make it through, but all our roads led to a dead end
Memories of us haunted me, but now I'm free from hurting
But then I look back and I'm faced with regret for you left me
Torn apart like the winds of a hurricane

It's like, one second I love you, the next I hate you
And I can't believe how fast we grew apart
We used to have long talks, but there's nothing left to discuss
I'm searching for an answer why we let it become so hard

What if we could take it back, try to erase all our pain
What if we could hop in a time machine and go back again
Oh, how I miss just being with you.
