"My Pleading"

Doubts are filling up the air as I go through this unknown territory
It's a place that I've never been before in my previous journey
A new learning in every step and a new set of challenges to face
There's nothing that could help me but my eagerness to survive

Reminiscing my past steps was a painful process to make
I want to let go but my spirit tells me to fight
Bravery is accepting one's failure and turning things around
It's not easy to walk this path full of regret from the past

Hold me close and never let go of us, I'm begging...
I want to take this path with you, hear my pleading
The times that made me feel empty were the times that you were not with me
I can try to keep moving but it's getting heavier with every step

I hope that the heavens will hear my prayers to the above
I deserve to be heard but it's never my will to impose
Pretending that things are meant for me is a foolish daydreaming
Let destiny weave every strand of this tapestry of my life

Giving in to fate has lifted all the burden in my heart
I will take every opportunity for granted, no longer...
Every person that we meet is an angel sent by fate to us
Never wonder, be strong, someone will arrive at the right time.
