“Looking Back”

An inkling about the future events is reaching to me
A message that reflects my hopes for this journey that I have taken
Giving me the passion to keep going and looking beyond what’s possible
It’s the hope that will allow me to make a change in my life

I’m given a new chance to make things happen
Giving up was my only option back when I have nothing
The life that I’m having right now is the beginning of a new story
I’m the author that will make everything a reality for me to cherish

I left the despair of the past and opened myself to the future
There’s no other reason that I need to change the way
Reminiscing the past will bring me sorrow that I don’t desire
Looking back to a point when I don’t know where my journey is leading me.

We all gone through the tough times… a phase in life that’s tough
The times when giving up is already an option
A point in this journey that allows me to change direction
The decisions made are the ones that made me who I am today…
