"Longing for Light"

A dense air in my chest that doesn't go away
Breathing is never been difficult as I traverse this path
I'm beginning to understand the reality of life
Beyond our control, we can only dream of better days ahead

Leaving the past behind, a moment of realization
A voice of hope that keeps on supporting this journey of mine
I will be forever grateful to the ones that lend their hands
There is nothing more fulfilling than making friends

There are dark areas of this path that make this journey difficult
It's a blinding darkness that never sheds some light
A reality that we should all face to keep going
Moving to an unclear direction makes you the brave one

Your inner flame will dwindle but it won't be gone
The existence of hope will never fade away
Listen to your inner voice and answer its call
"You are stronger than what you think you are."

A spark of hope that ignites a new flame
The light that will shed clarity on your path
A chosen journey that will bring you grace
The prayers will be answered at the right time.
