“Life’s Certainties”
The tent that protected me is failing… I have to find a new way for me to breathe
The suffocating cloud of dust keeps dragging me below the ground
No matter how strong I climb up, the unstable ground keeps pulling me down
My emotions are burning and I can’t contain it
There’s nothing more liberating than allowing every grain of salt to disperse from me
The bitterness of life has taken a toll on me
Little by little, I’m starting to visualize the hole that dug myself into
It will always be the same if I’ll never make a change
We will never know the life we once knew after we create a new path
It’s a reality that we must experience
A collection of beautiful and bitter events
Memories that give us the wealth of this journey in this space and time…

Very good poetry, I hope your reality is not like in your poem, my friend.
Hope you are fine there.
