Spring Photography: blooming Brevnov Monastery in Prague

Hey there my Hive friends and followers!

You might still remember the magnificent Brevnov Monastery here in Prague that I wrote about in this post a couple of months ago. We visited this amazing place again on a beautiful sunny afternoon last weekend and I did another little photo shooting over there. However, I didn´t want to take the same pictures as I did the last time so instead of focusing on the monastery itself, I zeroed in on the blooming flowers and trees surrounding the monastery while making sure to have the impressive medieval buildings blurred out in the background.

I really liked this idea and enjoyed the shooting but unfortunately, I soon realized that even though the monastery is surrounded by large gardens and orchards, there were not really that many different flower and tree species blooming at that time so eventually, I ended up with just 7 pictures :( I still find them kind of cool though so let me share them with you...

The monaestry seems to have been surrounded by so much green and flowers. How nice to see the blooming of nature in the posts on HIVE.

Thanks buddy :) It´s actually a large complex that consists of many buildings, gardens, orchards, cemetery etc... It´s all mentioned in the older post. Thanks again for your visit!

Just the other day I was in the garden and took some pictures of the flowering fruit trees, I'll probably upload a post these days, hehe.

I always like to see nature especially the flowers I like the most. Whenever I feel tired than just too see nature, flowers, mountains, rain, rivers, birds, I totally forget about my hectic routine.

Flowers are finally blooming everywhere. I like the photos very much. My favorite is the one with the daisies. They look perfect in close-up. I took a photo like that recently, you can see it in my post tomorrow 😂

Please tell me the dandelions aren't supposed to be there! Those are considered weeds over here. Well, some people eat the greens I guess, but for the most part they are a nuisance! Beautiful shots!

Thanks mate :) Haha, no worries, dandelions are considered weeds here too but they get very abundant in grass covered places these days and it´s almost impossible to get rid of them. Still look kind of cool in pictures though :)

Yeah, I agree, they can be beautiful in the right circumstances. I started having my lawn treated this year to hopefully eliminate them.
