Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
I´m really sorry that I haven´t been able to be active on Hive at all lately, even though I actually decided to take my laptop with me (hoping to spend at least an hour or two on Hive every day), it´s not possible because of the local internet that is simply not working most of the time :( Therefore, this is also the first time in more than five years that I have been here on Hive that I had to skip some rounds of my regular series, really sorry about that guys, I will make up for it once we are back to our country. For now, let me at least wish all of you merry Christmas and share a few random shots taken by me here on this amazingly beautiful and diverse Tanzanian island called Zanzibar ;)

Thank you! Well said! The poor internet was actually the only little downside, everything else was absolutely amazing and we totally fell in love with (this part of) Africa and the Hakuna Matata lifestyle :)
Many places forget internet contact, enjoy the region take a diary with some notes as you do your photography. Once home you then consolidate the trip and share with notes to remind you of feelings in the moment.
Well the experience that you shared is really good. Your journey on hive is a long time. The nature you share with us is really good that's a really nice view. Mary happy Christmas....! May this Christmas bring joy to us all

Thanks! Yeah, I know, it´s just my inner OCD always trying to make me uncomfortable and kind of guilty when I cannot keep my routines for some reasons. But in this particular case, the reasons were so cool and enjoyable hehe :)

Už jsme zpátky v civilizaci (a šedivé a chladné realitě :D), tak dodatečně projíždím všechny komenty a posty, které jsem zmeškal. Díky i za tenhle, bylo tam fakt nádherně. Už teď je nám jasné, že se do Afriky vrátíme a určitě ne jen na týden ;) Snad jste měli v Irsku taky hezké Vánoce :)

Thank you :) Well, we lived in the Caribbean too and the internet was much better there (Mayan Riviera, Mexico) than what we just experienced in Zanzibar but it was the only little drawback, everything else was absolutely fantastic and we cannot wait to go back :)

Totally different indeed :) So glad we finally made it to Africa and I hope you will make it there too. North African countries are actually close to your country but I know they have been strongly influenced by the European and Arabic culture. We wanted to experience "the real Africa" so went a bit further down to south ;)

Aww, thank you man! :) I never really was much into taking photos of people as I always prefer nature, landscapes etc. but in Africa, the locals are just so friendly, happy and spontaneous that I couldn´t stop clicking :) Many more posts with photos of the locals and their kids coming soon ;)
