Iceland #2 Geyser - Kerið - Blue Lagoon - Northern Lights

avatar

Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I've been back as a content creator, so I'm happy to share the second part of my journey in this fantastic community!

They were days of long hours spent in the car, getting lost along these stretches was really exciting

The gayser was certainly one of the most awaited and did not disappoint

The entire landscape was littered with active and inactive gaysers

Along the south of iceland towards the lagoon

Little to describe, there was a need for more preparation from a photographic point of view, but it was completely unexpected

I hope you enjoyed this little photographic adventure!

I can't for now. We're taking care of my old mother and can't go anywhere longer than a few days. I'd like to take my camper, go by ferry. That alone is 4 sea days. And naturally, I'd like to take my sweet time there. So, it stays on my bucket list.

The northern lights! Wow that was one of the famous tourist spots and I am one of those dreaming to visit and experience it.
It was so fascinating!

Pretty cool place. Is that place far from the settlements of the communities in the area there? What is the challenge If we want to go to a place as beautiful as this.

So many geysers! Can you walk freely in the area? I just wonder if a geyser is inactive if there is any chance that it would burst so it could be a bit dangerous 🙂 We have only one geyser in Slovakia which bursts every hour with warm water.

It looks like a great place to visit.

Yes you can walk let's say freely in the area, the path is obviously delimited and the geysers are too, but you can get very close.
Many are inactive or wake up from time to time so it's safe but I think it's at your own risk to approach them. what you see active in the sequence of photos, let's say every half hour erupted
