RE: Building new garden house

I remember the days when my parents were building the house where they live currently... I was a teenager in those days, and as my father did most of the work, I had to help them out all the way... I hate it! 🤣 I said to myself that I will never build a house in my life...
But, today, after so many years have passed, I do appreciate that work as I learned a lot regarding so many things around the house...
Seeing your post, I kind of miss more of the "physical work", and wouldn't mind working on a similar project like you did here... Building a small shed, or a garage, or anything that could be useful... As I live in an apartment, it's not possible, but maybe one day I will make a move and buy some land for those things... 😃
And of course my son was responsible for checking the chicken entrance.😀
That's a funny photo! Kids approved = chicken approved! 😃

Thank you for attention to my post. You know in the youth we often don't understand that thing which parents or teacher want to teach us can be useful for our future life but after years or ages we can look on past from different point of view. Also when I was building this garden house or shed as you call it I thought that it can be great if I learned sume building skills before)...
Also about missing physic work (physical activity) I understand that feeling especially last year when I have remote work. I try to be as active as it possible. Try to ride on my cycle, go with kids to kindergarten or work in garden. Even my second half couple times suggested to sell our apartment and buy house))
When I was a kid, I dreamt about living in an apartment (I lived in a house with a garden, and always had to help parents with it 😃)... Now, I would like to live in a house, and to work a bit in the garden... 😂
