Higher Cars, Higher Prices .:. Feria Automovil Valencia 2023

When you are a crypto HODLer, every time you see a 10-20% price rise of your crypto, you start dreaming about LAMBOs... 😂 This year had a great start, Bitcoin went from 17K to 31K which is almost 50% and my brain began to calculate how good it will be to change the current car... lol... Just for disclosure, I have NEVER bought a new car! One reason was that I didn't have enough money to do it... lol... And when I had enough, I didn't want to spend 20-30% more just to have a new one...

So, I was following when the next Car show will happen, and I was targeting the one which I attended before in Valencia... They do a used car show twice per year and this was the Spring edition held last weekend and Saturday was my day to go!

Instead of Lambo's, the first view after entering the Car show was these two beautiful Ferraris...

At the same time, there was another (separate) show, as they placed all cars in two big halls...

I forgot to take photos BEFORE I entered the show, so I took some time after... lol... Just to get an idea of how it looked... The entrance and advertisers spots...

Back to the red devils... 😂 When ph1102 was young, I was a huge fan of sports cars and I remember the walls in my room covered with Ferraris and Lamborghinis... I remember the time when Ferrari Formula 1 car was powered by a V12 engine and at that time, the Ferrari F50 came out which had that same engine inside! Imagine an F1 engine in a "regular car"!

Anyways, these cars just take a breath away... I had to make these photos from above as we were lucky to have the escalator in the perfect place!

*Hey, Mike... What do you have in the trunk? Nothing, just an MF engine! 🤣

Speaking of red devils... There is another Italian brand that knows how to create an eye-appealing car... Alfa Romeo is one of those cars that I have always wanted to own, but I didn't because of some other reasons... I had few friends that had them and they always, but always, had a lot of problems with them... Their cars would be longer in the car garage than on the road... Maybe one day...

How the heck this came into this gallery? lol... I took this photo more as a joke as my son had the experience to be driven inside Toyota Aygo, and he was sitting in the back seat... As he is over 1.85m, imagine how that looked... 🤣

This is another one that I have put on my list just lately... Jaguar wasn't my favorite car before, but when I moved to Spain, I saw more and more people driving them... Probably because in my area we have a lot of Brits who like to drive "their brands"...

After dreaming about some super-cars, we are coming back to reality... This FIAT Tipo looks like a valid future buy for me as it fulfills most of my needs... It's not too expensive, it's not too small, it has a good size trunk, and it doesn't use a lot of gasoline...

Speaking of prices, I have noticed that the prices of cars have doubled in the last 5-6 years... I bought my current car around that time, and I could sell it for almost the same price! That was never like that! And if I would like to buy the same car at the age that mine had at the moment of purchase, I would have to pay double! No inflation? Or 2% yearly inflation? Yeah, right... 😤

Back to dreaming... Well, this car could be more than a dream, but I'm speaking about the one below this text as that price isn't for the car above... Both cars are Mercedes CLA class, but the one under is an "older" model, and because of that, cheaper one... You will see in the following photos that most of the cars on this Car show were SUVs, and that's why I put in the title "higher cars"...

I'm a bit old-school guy and I still prefer these cars that have this special "line" in the form of the water drop... Also, knowing that getting older will require a bigger car for easier getting in and out, maybe I'm in the last moments of the age when I could get into the car like this... lol... 😂 Before my back begin to hurt more... 😂

That day, when we went to the car show, it was extremely hot (for this time of the year) in the morning, and in the afternoon it was raining...

So, the next day, after the show, this was the view from my apartment... I can't call this fog as it was warm, but rather aerated water over the town...

As you have noticed, I didn't take too many photos and that was because I was completely focused on cars and forgot to take more... lol... Luckily, my wife wasn't, so she took a bit more than me and she said that I can share them with you (pinky promise 😂)!
