Curiously! Maybe because of the business I have found myself doing, so this makes me lean more towards making surfing and making an unending findings about what is the latest and what's going on the world of poultry farming business around the globe. Though my own poultry farm business is still on a small scale level business but I have come across a lot of big poultry farm in many countries of the world. Apparently, I love reading a lot about livestock farming and it has helped to make provision for food production.

Not until day before yesterday that I stumbled on a particular farmer who had his farm in the hole of mortality rate. Saw pictures of thousands of broiler birds found dead, that's a whole of lot of investment vanished within a twinkle of an eye. It was painful, for someone to witnessed his business vanished, I think would be a painful one. I think the incident happened in South Africa. So in the midst of People sympathizing, lot of questions were raised that what could be the cause of this high mortality rate in the farm.

Then I was able chip in to drop my own view concerning what might cause the mortality rate and this is the point where everyone including myself who saw the incident that this is why the poultry farm business highly risky because everyone was dropping different reasons that might be the cause of the poultry farm birds mortality. In lieu of that, I aired my own opinion that might be the reason

  • Vaccine failure during the process of administering the vaccine to the birds; vaccine failure from either lasota strain or gumboro. Vaccine failure could breeds Newcastle diseases, merek, coccidioidomycosis and many more.

  • Error from the hatchery farm. Maybe the farm the poultry farmer collected had error during hatchery process. There are some vaccinations that should be done immediately the birds are hatched, if these vaccinations are not carried out in the hatchery farm it might later cause an impending damage i.e mortality.

  • Negligence on the part of the poultry Farmer. For example, not tidying up the broiler chicken drinkers everyday, stepping into the pen with different foot wears(which might bring germs or bacterial into the poultry pen), not replacing the litter materials when it's necessary.

All the points that I have mentioned above are just few out of many but the few are part of what makes the farming business a risky one.

Sorry to say this. Maybe you should stop to downvote people's rewards so that your expected rewards could be safe too. Is like checking the records, people who you downvote are also after your curation rewards too. Thanks!
