POULTRY FARM AND THE MARKETING HABIT AND BEHAVIOR OF CHICKEN FEED WHOLESALERS.

I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.

Except for big poultry Farmers who are liable and capable of buying feeds directly from the producers. The small scale Farmer like myself has no other choice than to buy feeds from the wholesaler's shop. The number of birds you are raising or rearing would actually gives you the opportunity or the chance to be able to chicken feed directly from the producers of manufacturers. You can imagine a Farmer who rears almost ten thousand birds at a go,where do you expect such Farmer to get feeds from if not directly from the manufacturer?

How does the wholesaler's behavior affect the inflation of the price of feed.

One of their unbearable behavior is that they inflate the price of feed on old stock while they are yet to bring in the new stock. Immediately, the Producers increase on the new product, the distributors, wholesalers, retailers won't even wait to sell off the ones they have in stock before increasing the price.

This happened to me some couple of days ago, I paid for three bags each cost N15,600 per bag. On getting there, I was told the price has changed from that price above to N16,100. This is the highest form of unbearable behavior that you could experience from these people. If you ask me if I was in their shoes, will I not do the same since we are all doing business?
