POULTRY FARM AND REASON WHY 50% OF POULTRY FARM BUSINESS HAS CLOSED DOWN IN NIGERIA.

In the past couple of days, I have been surfing round the Internet and I have been coming across lot of need outlets flittering news about the new development concerning poultry farm business in Nigeria. Some couple of days ago, I made a post and the post I talked about how inflation of the price of feed has taken the center stage. Currently, the steady increase in price of feed is now having negative impacts on the poultry farm business in Nigeria.

How fast are people backing down from the business and why?

It's not gainsaying, there are lot of people around me that we are collectively running the poultry farm business and out of the seven people running the business, we are left with four people or so. Others have abandoned the business due to the hyperinflation of price of feed and price of day old chicken (chick).

While I was surfing the internet for news, I came across so many news talking about how people are being discouraged from doing or running the poultry farm business as metro news specifically stated it that 50% of poultry farm business have closed down due inflation and hyperinflation.

But then after some series of survey to gather reasons why some of my colleagues abandoned the business, it's nothing other than their complain over the amount they will be spending on the cost of production. They see it as way too high considering the amount of risks that revolves around running a poultry farm for business.
