POULTRY FARM AND FORMS OF FEEDS THAT WE HAVE HERE.
I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.
The ultimate goal of feedstuff giving to Broiler chicken birds is to help and assist in transforming these feeds into what human being can consume. I'm not these feeds can be eaten raw, but the feeds must pass through processes before it can be consumed by human being. So it's the Broiler chicken birds that help to transforms this feedstuff into meat production that's referred to as chicken meat. In this process, we have different forms of feed commonly produced by different manufacturers for Broiler chicken birds.
Forms of feed we have and their look and shape.
There are commonly three forms of feed that we have; namely pellets, mash and crumble. These forms of feed are all produced by any manufacturer of feed that you can find around.
Pellets feed.
Pellet feed is a form feed that are formed from the mash feed. Pellet feed is the biggest size of all feed considering mere looking at it visually just like the one you are seeing below. Pellet feed is compressed from the mashed feed form with the help of the mashed feed passing through heat to form it into pellets.
Crumble feed.
Crumble feed are made from pellets with the help of grinding the pellet feed with machine into smaller particles. The reason for this takes place when the birds are in their smaller age because they can't pick pellets size feed. So pellet feed needs to be shredded into smaller particles. So reverse is the case between pellet feed and crumble feed.
Mash feed.
Mash feed is just the mixing of different feed ingredients together for example maize, soya beans, sorghum, groundnut, kulikuli, dried fish such that no matter how they are mixed most of these ingredients can still be identified. This form of feed doesn't not need machine before it's mixed.
